Dr. Kirsten Murphy
Dr. Murphy here, wow, I have been working with Yolo Veterinary Clinic for eight and a half years now! I am a UC Davis vet school graduate, class of 2000. I have been practicing small animal medicine since that time, the bulk of my time currently spent performing dental and surgical procedures for your pets here at YVC. I have had a strong interest in veterinary dentistry since I started practice, and have gained a LOT of experience over the years. It is very gratifying to provide often immediate relief to my patients after extracting painful, infected teeth.
In my free time, I share time with my husband Brian, koolie dog Nene, two kitties Limpet and Mr. Biscuit, and a small flock of backyard hens who amuse me to no end. If you see a red sidecar roaring around the region, that’s me, Brian and Nene- exploring northern California backroads together is our latest passion.
Dr. Victoria Hsu
Dr. Victoria Hsu was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. She attended UCLA for her undergraduate studies and graduated from the UC Davis school of veterinary medicine. She has special interests in surgery, urgent care/emergency medicine, but also enjoys wellness care to help pets thrive for their entire lives. Dr. Hsu has completed a “Fear Free” certification course and strives to minimize the stress of veterinary appointments for her patients. She has spent much of her career practicing in the greater Sacramento area, but did briefly reside in Houston as well, where she practiced emergency medicine. She is thrilled to be back in Northern California, where she resides with her wife (who is also a veterinarian), two rescue pugs, and rescue cat. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her surprisingly athletic pugs and trying out new recipes.

Gamen Huang
Kennel Attendant and Veterinary Assistant
Hi there! My name is Gamen (like the game backgammon) and I graduated from UC Davis in 2019 with a degree in Animal Science and a minor in Wildlife, Fish, & Conservation Biology. Before joining Yolo Veterinary Clinic, I used to be a veterinary volunteer at Berkeley Humane Society and Yolo County Animal Services. I also worked closely with the vets at the UCD Comparative Pathology Lab, which definitely solidified my career goal of becoming a veterinarian and hopefully pursuing a specialization in pathology. Away from work, I love spending time with my Shiba Inu dog Bart and my cow cat Sir Catone, whether it be exploring out in nature or snuggling at home on the couch.
Rebeccah Tuck
Veterinary Assistant
Hi, my name is Rebeccah, most people just call me Beccah. I am one of the veterinary assistants here at Yolo. I have been in the vet field for going on 7 years! I knew from a young age I wanted to help animals, so once I graduated high school I went to tech school and have been doing it ever since. I have two dogs, Milo who is a boxer, and Maverick who is a pitty. Outside of work I like spending days on the couch with them or anything outdoors, if weather permits.
Dacey Hicks

Hi! My name is Dacey and I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I participated in 4h and FFA with large animals from age 10 til graduation, and after high school I began working with dog training, grooming, and boarding. At home I have a Golden retriever, a variety of morphs of Ball Pythons, a Brazilian Rainbow Boa, Leopard Geckos, a Sulcata Tortoise, and an Argentine Black and White Tegu. When I’m not with my animals you can find me on the water paddle boarding, or at my local gym weight lifting.
